Abstract

This paper presents an advanced optimization framework combining Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) with fuzzy logic to enhance threshold voltage calibration of Light Dependent Resistors (LDRs) in Li-Fi communication systems. By modeling environmental lighting variations and signal noise, the proposed hybrid algorithm enables more accurate voltage threshold detection, improving data integrity in optical wireless channels. Simulation results using MATLAB demonstrate improved response dynamics and noise immunity, with the method adaptable to embedded hardware. The system architecture, both in software and hardware, is optimized for real-time applications, providing a significant boost in bit-error rate (BER) performance in Li-Fi networks.
