Introduction

With the technical advance of computerized tomography, it was found that a lot of adults (70-90%) showed pulmonary nodules in normal people. It is still neglected in medical circle. How to tackle this problem with therapeutic means is a modern challenge. It means that there is a potential risk of human health in pulmonary nodules. Some doctors want to do something to reverse this evidence and possible pathologic consequences. Different therapeutics had been proposed for this clinical evidence, especially surgery. However, the effectiveness of these therapies will be seen a long period of times.

From our points of view, it is not a good thing to “treat” patients immediately without understanding the underlying mechanisms and pathological consequences of this phenomenon. At present, these nodules are at least not fatal according to current discovery. Before large understanding of its pathogenesis, it is not suitable for immediate radical treatments. According to our point of view, diagnostic and pathological study of this phenomenon is more than surgery removal. Drug development1–3 and traditional medicine4–7 is very important.

It is proposed that this evidence is not 100% associated with malignancy. Human infection, mental health problems and underlying diseases could also be possible. Personalized medicine may be useful.8,9 Financial support is needed for the researches of this enigma.
