Abstract

The distribution range of Lagonosticta sanguinodorsalis was until today limited in Nigeria, and therefore, this species was also considered as endemic to this area with some ramifications in the Mandara Mountains. Ecologically, this sedentary species proved to have a high degree of fidelity to its home ranges but investigations were not fairly prompted in the north part of Cameroon, particularly in the Adamawa Plateau.
