Kindie et al.1 have given a good insight in the area of conservation of local medicinal plants used extensively by the indigenous people in Babile Woreda and awareness towards the Traditional knowledge through their work published in your Journal. This type of work enhances interest of local people to the eco-friendly living & biodiversity conservation. The work gives a scope in the field of facultative medicinal therapy when explored scientifically.
Anand K Chaudhary2 explained the Potency of Ayurveda in current COVID-19 pandemic condition. Ayurveda, being an integral part of Indian civilization has been practiced in the country since thousands of years ago successfully. Many workers like Priyabrata Pattanayak,3 Randino4 have also highlighted the potential of Traditional knowledge in the current era through their work.
The work of Bekele Kindie and Chala Tamiru1 indicates towards the need of scientific studies to explore the valuable potential of these indigenous plants.
