Biography
Dr. Patrice P Denefle, Ph.D HDR Associate Professor, is pursuing a dual career in Life Sciences and Healthcare industries, having joined Rhone-Poulenc in 1983 during his internship at the Pasteur Institute. He is co-author of over 100 publications, Associate Professor of molecular and cell biology at the University Paris-Descartes. He has pioneered the field of cardiovascular gene therapy, and has initiated multiple programs in Human genetics, functional genomics and pharmacogenomics at Rhone-Poulenc Rorer, RPR Gencell, Aventis Pharma then Sanofi-Aventis. After three years as CSO and head of translational R&D at Genethon, he joined Ipsen in January 2010 as Senior VP, Digital and Translational Sciences, to build and run a global platform fully integrating Medical and Scientific approaches towards precision Medicine.
