The First Amendment is more to blame than the Second for the killing of the 20 children and 6 adults in Newtown, Connecticut this month. We have had guns since 1776. We have had a “culture (sic)” of DEATH for America only since Roe v. Wade of 1972…as Shakespeare wrote, “Death lies upon her like an untimely frost upon the sweetest flower of all the land” (Check out The Death of America, written by me in 1973—forty years later and never more true). “Evil” is the creation of anthropolical non-being—and nothing does that more than abortion which is a vast dehumanization and brutal exploitation so some can have their squirt/slime reflexes without normal and natural consequences. And millions have to die for this?
The First Amendment has failed, for 50 years, to foster a people of Life. At least ¼ of all the classmates of the dead Connecticut children are already dead by abortion, and few care. Doctors are beginning to assist in suicide (when it should more rightly be done by journalists, editors, judges, politicians and lawyers—who could just as well be doing the simple abortions too—doctors should not be part of the culture of death). The culture of DEATH includes all the shoot ‘em up computer games, the viscious murder requirements of movies and television, even some music, and the free press/free speech pretenders who have failed to inform citizens of the real meaning of “America.” Instead, given is spurious uncivilized advertising which sells everything from junk food to junk ideas which kill and degrade—anything sensational to get your attention. The press & media have failed to create a culture worth preserving. We have a culture of disgust and death. People are suggestible—they imitate whatever seen, not only sex, but killing too; and the press and media exploitation of this by unnatural sensationalized sex and violence is the major cause of disturbed people acting out visible grotesque sex and murder masquerading as fun.
The president says he wants to “care for our children” and “keep children safe from harm”—what a joke when abortion annually kills a million human beings not even allowing them to get to kindergarten (You were a fetus once, and only once…would you have been for your abortion? Abortion more than turns the Golden Rule on its head—it actually invites to kill if you can get away with it). Kids know that they are missing one-fourth of their birthclass (or they should know it, and they have the right to know it). And if abortion is okay, what could be wrong? Especially when killing is presented as glorious entertainment…easily influencing the vulnerable and disturbed.
Finally, the censorship of protests like this is proof of the failure of the First Amendment to protect Life and accurately inform the people, as expected by the Constitution. The people of the First Amendment are the cause of the culture of Death., while guns remain inanimate objects.
