Dr Edmond B Cabbabe, a board-certified plastic surgeon, started his practice in St. Louis, MO in 1980. He is currently president of Advanced Plastic Surgery, Inc. and Plastic Surgery Consultants, Ltd, and adjunct professor of plastic surgery at St. Louis University. His numerous leadership positions include presidency of the St. Louis Metropolitan Medical Society, Missouri State Medical Association, National Arab American Medical Association, St Louis Area Society of Plastic Surgeons, Missouri Association of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons, National Arab American Medical Association Foundation, Missouri Physician Health Foundation, and Missouri Health Education Foundation, He is also a board member and past president of the Missouri State Medical Association Insurance Agency, as well as a board member of the Missouri State Medical Foundation, and the Board Chair of the Center for Patient Safety. He currently serves on the Boards of St. Louis Zoo Association and St. Louis University Medical School advisory board.
Dr. Cabbabe has served on the AMA Governing Council of the International Medical Graduates as an alternate delegate and vice chair. He then served as a Missouri delegate for several years and is currently the Chair of the Missouri and Heart of America Caucus, and chair of the Council on Long Range Planning and Development at the AMA delegation to the AMA House of Delegates and member of the AMA Council on Long Range Planning and Development at the AMA.
