Chase Login: Sign In to Online Banking and the Mobile App

For Chase login, go to www.chase.com, enter your username and password, and choose Sign in. If you cannot remember your details, select Forgot username/password? beneath the sign-in form.

For Chase online login on your phone, you can also use the official Chase Mobile app. Existing online banking customers use the same sign-in credentials in the app.

Chase bank login on a computer

  1. Open Chase.com directly.
  2. Find the sign-in area, or select Sign in to open it.
  3. Enter your Username and Password.
  4. Choose Sign in.
  5. Complete any additional verification Chase requests.

The form includes Remember username. On a shared computer, leave it unchecked and sign out when finished. Remembering a username does not mean that future sign-ins will skip identity checks.

If your browser fills the form automatically, confirm that it has selected the correct username. An old saved password or another household member's profile can lead to repeated failed attempts.

Chase sign in on the mobile app

Get Chase Mobile through the download link on Chase's official mobile banking page. Open the app, enter your existing online banking credentials, and follow the verification prompts.

You do not need a separate online profile simply because you are switching from a computer to a phone. Chase's mobile banking information confirms that the app uses your chase.com sign-in.

Compatible devices can use supported fingerprint or facial recognition features. If that method fails, follow the alternative sign-in option shown in the app before assuming your password needs resetting. Device compatibility and available options can change, so use the current app-store requirements for your device.

Can you sign in without a password?

Chase's homepage includes a Passwordless sign in option, and its security guidance confirms that chase.com supports passkeys. Follow the official prompts if that option is available to you.

A website passkey and biometric access in Chase Mobile are different sign-in arrangements. Seeing Face ID or fingerprint access in the app does not establish that a website passkey has been set up.

If you cannot complete the passwordless route, return to the regular sign-in option or use official recovery. You do not need to buy a security accessory to follow this guide.

New to Chase online banking? Enroll first

If you already have a Chase account but have never set up online access, choose Not Enrolled? Sign Up Now. on the official sign-in screen. You can also start through the Enroll now link on Chase's online banking page.

Follow the current enrollment prompts and create your credentials within Chase's own process. Keep any account or identification information you need private.

Enrollment creates online access; it is separate from applying for a new bank account. If you have signed in before and forgotten your credentials, start with recovery rather than trying to enroll again.

Chase banking login not working? Start with the symptom

A rejected password, a missing verification code, and an account missing from your dashboard are different problems.

What you see Next step
Incorrect username or password Check the saved username, then use Forgot username/password? if necessary.
A code request after credentials are accepted Complete the verification method Chase offers.
Code sent to an unavailable contact method Use another offered method, or contact Chase through its official support channels.
A locked-access or security message Follow the message and official recovery process; call support if unresolved.
Blank page or app closing before sign-in Reopen the service, check your connection, and update the browser or app.
Successful sign-in, but an account is absent Check the profile and relevant account permissions or linking settings.

The technical checks above are general troubleshooting suggestions. They do not diagnose your account or establish that Chase has an outage.

Forgot your username or password?

Choose Forgot username/password? on Chase.com or in Chase Mobile. Follow the bank's prompts to verify your identity and recover access.

If your username is uncertain, resolve that before repeatedly trying passwords. After a successful reset, check whether your password manager still contains the old entry.

Do not rely on a fixed waiting period from an unofficial guide to unlock your account. If recovery fails, contact Chase rather than continuing to guess.

Verification code missing or going to an old number?

Read the prompt carefully. Check which contact destination or approval method is actually offered. If you have access to another offered method, use it.

Chase says first-time sign-ins or unusual activity can trigger extra checks, including a mobile app notification or a one-time code. A correct password therefore may not complete sign-in by itself.

If the listed phone number or other contact method is no longer yours, contact Chase for help with identity verification and your contact information. Do not assume email, text, or a phone call will always be available.

If the screen directs you to call, independently confirm the number through Chase customer service or the back of your card. Follow the bank's verification process; do not give codes to an unsolicited caller.

Website works, but the app does not?

Try the official website if the problem appears limited to the app. If the website alone is affected, try the official app.

This helps narrow down where the problem occurs. It does not guarantee that a security restriction will disappear when you switch devices.

For persistent errors, note the exact message and whether the failure happens before or after verification. Those details are more useful to support than a description such as “nothing works.”

Chase accounts login: why personal and business accounts may look different

If you can sign in but cannot see a particular account, another password reset may not solve the problem.

First confirm that you have opened the intended personal or business profile. Chase provides a process for linking eligible personal and business relationships from the business profile:

Business sign-in → Profile & Settings → Profile & settings → Account settings → Manage linked accounts → Show my accounts → Link relationship.

Review the eligible relationships shown and confirm only the intended link. Before linking, review business-user permissions because eligible linked personal accounts can be included in delegated access. If the relationship is not listed, ask Chase to check eligibility instead of assuming every account can be linked.

If you are an employee, bookkeeper, or another delegated business user, your access depends on the account administrator. Chase says authorized users see only accounts assigned to them. Ask the administrator to check permissions if an account is missing.

What to do after signing in

Check your balance and recent activity

Choose the account you want to review. Chase's online banking help explains that the account activity page displays payment and deposit activity alongside current and available balances.

Review the correct account before making a transfer or payment, particularly when several accounts appear in your dashboard.

Find statements and documents

On the website, open the Main Menu and select Statements & documents. Choose the relevant account, year, and statement.

In Chase Mobile, the bank's statement FAQ gives this route: Profile & Settings → Statements & documents within Document manager, then Statements, account, and year.

Chase says statement history can extend up to seven years, depending on account type. That is not a promise that every account has seven years of documents.

Payment due while you cannot log in?

If you were signing in to pay a Chase credit card, Chase lists an automated payment service at 1-800-436-7958, alongside other payment options.

Check whether a payment is already scheduled before submitting another. Ask the bank about timing for the method you use; different payment channels can have different processing rules. Do not assume an access problem changes the due date.
